The Role:
NLC Engineering seeks a full-time Foreman based in Kalgoorlie for our workshop. This position, Monday to Friday with potential for overtime, oversees daily operations of the machine shop, fabrication, and line boring scheduling. Familiarity with ISO standards is essential as we pursue accreditation. Mentoring apprentices is pivotal, reflecting our commitment to the next generation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage workshop flow and timelines
- Liaise with clients
- Plan jobs using our management platform
- Ensure timely project delivery
- Report directly to the GM
About You:
- Prior leadership in machining, fabrication, or mechanical workshops
- Strong commitment to safety, quality, and WHS compliance
- Excellent communication, self-motivation, and teamwork
- Experience in mentoring apprentices and managing teams
- Ability to innovate and a positive attitude
- Proficiency in computer skills
