AddressProtech is looking for aWorkshop Leading Handto provide supervision of employees on safety, quality, and productivity, with our client in Derrimut in the heavy trailer industry.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Full-time Permanent
- Long term work with a great company and excellent security
- Monday to Friday, day-shift
- Full-time rate: $40 to $45 per hour
- Supervision of employees for their productivity, quality of work, and safety.
- Train and provide support for staff for repair techniques.
- Outline workshop equipment for repairs to ensure the workshop operates with efficiency and safety.
- Monitor jobs and provide feedback to the parts department to keep track of shortages that may affect the ability to meet agreed repair completion time.
- Coordinate with the workshop and factory team to investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Take initiative on the improvement of workshop staff training and development.
- Previous Leading Hand experience is highly regarded.
- Previous experience in the heavy vehicle or transport industry.
- Relevant Trade Qualification - Mechanic/Automotive is highly regarded.
- Driver's License and own reliable transport is required.
