Form of workExpress Employment Professionals have partnered a Sheet Metal organisation located in Bankstown, We are on the lookout for an experienced Leading Hand / Supervisor to join their small team of 6 and growing.
As a Workshop Leading Hand /Supervisor, your responsibilities include:
- Supervising at team of 6 and growing
- Have scheduling experience a MUST, and assigning duties to workers.
- Ensuring all workers have the necessary resources for job fulfillment.
- Managing product delivery schedules and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Planning and regularly reviewing the overall production status.
- Ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety precautions.
- Maintaining excellent relationships with customers.
Requirements
- Hands-on supervision on the workshop floor, overseeing staff and production processes.
- This role is ideal for an individual with strong leadership, communication skills, and quick problem-solving abilities.
- Excelling in time management and organisational skills, accustomed to a time-sensitive and fast-paced environment.
- Willingness and ability to work the necessary hours to meet job requirements.
- MIG Welding experience ideal
- Able to use guillotines, plasmas, griders
About You!
- Essential experience in MIG welding, fabrication, team management, and sheet metal operations.
- Good computer and document handling skills a MUST
- Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen a MUST
- Proactive individual with a strong hands on background in sheet metal/steel, possess excellent leadership and communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced setting, this role is tailored for you.
