Leading Hand/Forman

HBK Building is looking for an experienced and dedicated Leading Hand - Site Foreman to join their team.

We specialize in high-end renovation builds and small remedial works throughout Sydney sea board from Cronulla to Mona Vale. We need a skilled Leading Hand - Site Foreman to play a key role in delivering outstanding projects. 

You will work with a dedicated and professional team, who care about quality of works and take pride in the finished build. We have a great culture and work life balance.  

You will have the ability to run a project from start to finish and also be hands on when the project requires. 

Responsibilities:

• On-site working on the Tools through out Large and Small Projects.
• Working in a small team of 3-5 tradesman / labourers / Apprentices
• Working and teaching apprentices while onsite  
• Manage on-site construction activities to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and work closely with the Site supervisor to ensure that construction plans are followed accurately and efficiently.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations
• Troubleshoot and resolve any problems or obstacles that may arise during construction to ensure that projects stay on track.

Requirements:

• Certificate 3 Trade and bonus with Certificate 4. 
• At least 5 plus years of experience leading hand or similar role in the construction industry
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• High attention to detail and the ability to ensure that projects are completed to the highest standards of quality.
• Experience working to programs and plans. 
• Familiarity with construction safety regulations and protocols.
• Must have a full licence.
