About the role:
You will support Fleet Operations in the delivery of ‘Operational Excellence’, through the co-ordination and management of all aspects of Workshop Operations. The role is responsible for the management of safety, personnel, throughput of work and cost control within the Shepparton workshop.
This role will entail but is not limited to:
- Responsible for co-ordinating the delivering of timely and efficient workshop operations and fleet support, aligned with divisional standards and direction, budgetary requirements, and optimising asset uptime.
- Operational support to deliver ‘service excellence’ in alignment with business expectations and legislative requirements.
- Oversee and support Workshop Operations through the co-ordination and management of procurement, repair, delivery, and recovery of plant and equipment.
- Management of stock and stock controls aligned with divisional standards and budgets.
- Liaise with external stakeholders and suppliers to ensure the execution of efficient Workshop Operations.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong work ethic, pride in yourself and your “can- do” attitude and be passionate about the transport industry. You will enjoy a varied workday and strive in a fast-paced, “hands on” environment.
To be successful in this role you will be a Qualified Mechanic and possess:
- Heavy vehicle and welding experience.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced workshop environment.
- Demonstrated experience managing people.
- Prior experience servicing fleet equipment.
- A strong focus on doing the job safely and compliantly.
