The Workshop Supervisor would suit a hands-on leader who will oversee the day-to-day operations, create an inclusive culture while fostering skills and promoting growth, and seeks opportunities to improve processes. Working closely with our operative leaders, an excellent ability to communicate while in a fast-paced environment is required.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of skilled technicians, and workshop staff.
- Plan and organize daily workflow to maximize productivity and meet production targets.
- Monitor and enforce safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, promoting skill development and cross-training.
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to uphold high standards of workmanship.
- Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
- Take ownership, demonstrate accountability and integrity in all that you do while providing a clear direction forward.

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid qualification for the repair and maintenance of heavy commercial vehicles (Certificate III in HV Mechanical Technology)
- Proof of experience within the Heavy Diesel repair industry.
- Proven leadership experience.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to plan your workload & required parts.
- Dedicate commitment to Safety & Quality Assurance Policies.
Joining a team with a collaborative culture, you would be working on a fleet size of 1000+ units. The role involves repairing new trucks, including Kenworth, Mack, Volvo, Isuzu, and UD, to complete routine servicing, diagnosing and maintenance. With new equipment being added to our fleet and growth within the business the opportunity offers long term job security.
