EMJC Earthmoving & Plant Hire has been operating since 2008, providing plant hire, heavy haulage and maintenance solutions for the mining, civil and construction industry.
With branches located in Perth, Newman and an onsite team in Collie, an opportunity has arisen for a Workshop Supervisor to join our Perth team based in Hazelmere.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the workshop which includes, but not limited to:
- Requesting Parts
- Organising work loads
- Preparing work scopes
- Assisting the other trades people
- Managing stock levels
- Prioritising work to meet deadlines
- Signing off on site compliance paperwork
- Running Pre-Start Meetings
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of earthmoving equipment, supervisory experience and strong administration and communication skills.
Essential skills and qualifications for this role include: -
- Minimum 3 years industry experience
- Mechanical HD Mobile Plant Trade qualification
- Broad knowledge of earthmoving equipment
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight timelines
- Understanding of Occupational Health and Safety industry standard requirements
- Strong computer skills utilising the Microsoft suite.
- Strong diagnostic experience is a must
- Understanding of controlling costs
- Strong time management skills
