Due to customer growth, our awesome team in Prestons are after a Workshop Service Technician to join our busy workshop This position is to provide skilful and efficient maintenance and repair of Komatsu Forklifts customer equipment. You'll contribute to a professional team environment by ensuring high levels of safety, quality, and efficiency through your efforts.
We are committed to career development at Komatsu Forklifts. This position is open to someone with an automotive background wanting to expand their skillset into forklifts. As a Field Service Technician at Komatsu Forklifts you'll be supported not just professionally but personally too. We also provide a phone and uniforms/PPE for all our employees.
Roster: Monday to Friday x 8hr days
Location: Prestons, NSW
The knowledge, skills and abilities we’re looking for:
- Relevant Automotive Qualification (Light Vehicle or Heavy Diesel) with minimum 1-year post trade experience.
- Be able to work unsupervised
- An ability to provide a high level of customer service
- Must have good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Safety focused mindset is paramount
- Holds a current driver’s license
- Forklift licence is preferred
- Had previous experience in a similar workshop based position
- Have competent computer knowledge
