The Team in Kewdale is looking for meticulous and results driven people to work in the Hire Yard preparing and detailing equipment ready for customer pick up, loading and unloading and performing other yard duties. In a working day you will;
1. Take ownership of the assigned on- hire requests. Prepare the equipment in accordance with the customer requirements and/or statutory obligations. This includes but is not limited to attachment selection and pre-hire checks (photos, fittings, safety equipment and logs)
2. Take ownership of the assigned off-hire requests. Review machinery and related equipment in accordance with company guidelines. This includes a machinery review/audit that includes all panels, wheels/tracks, lights, attachments, internal instruments to ensure the equipment has been returned in its original condition and without damage
3. As required, assist our customers with loading and unloading of customer vehicles and transport companies using the required equipment and following the standard QHSE protocols.
4. Washing machines/attachments in a timely manner and to company standards. This includes all external components as well the cabins to ensure that they are ready for the on-hire stage.
5. Work collaboratively with the Hire/Sales/Workshop teams to maximise the utilisation of equipment hire through effective decision making and branch sharing. This can involve the efficient movement of off-hires, branch transfers or prioritising repair work that can help to meet urgent customer requirements.
6. Assist in day-to-day yard maintenance that will include the safe storage of company tools and equipment, rubbish removal and any other tasks that help to maintain a safe and efficient workplace. Operating and moving machines safely around the yard.
