Who we are:
Faresin Australia P/L is the Australian Branch of the Italian Manufacturing Company Faresin Formwork. The branch offices are based in Prospect NSW and we are about to open a new yard in Yatala QLD. Our business activities are mainly in Formwork projects, residential and civil projects for T1 companies and big / medium sub-contractors. Our primary objective is always to give the best solution to the client to make easy the workforce activities in the job site using our products. We work close to our client for technical assistance, problem solving, new solutions for time assembly / material costs reduction.
As a Yard Manager & Operator, you will be responsible in ensuring continuity of yard main operations:
- Maintenance of Material and ensuring that the Company's Material is stored in a correct manner;
- Control, Maintenance and Cleaning of materials after each returns including sending to the account department all the documentations related;
- Perform Stock counts on request
- Manage Delivery & Returns of Materials including coordinating with the clients regarding pickup times
- Produce and maintain all documentation in relation to Material Delivery and Returns including the entering of data into our server;
- Documenting and taking photo evidence of Material at each delivery and return
- Informing Faresin Office Staff of damaged and waste Material
- Maintenance and Cleaning of Yard
- Performing stock control and manage the importation of material process & General stock control.
- Ensuring all material is accounted for and that there is no missing material at any point
- Coordinating the Delivery and Return of Materials from our overseas supplier including unpacking containers
- Other ad-hoc duties in relation to Yardman and Stock Controller roles
- PICKING of equipment and preparation waiting delivery (including grid box labels of equipment inside each one)
- TRANSPORTS schedule with customers for delivery & return of equipment and transport booking when required and confirmed from the customer
- DELIVERY DOCKETS (forms + photos) creation of folder into our server and entering in company software with creation of the official document
- RETURN DOCKETS (labelled forms + photos + check & control) creation of folder and entering in company software with creation of the official document including specification of damage / waste & missing equipment or parts of them
- DAMAGE / WASTE & MISSING to be reported to the office and first communication to the customer with photos giving them 5 business days to come in our warehouse to verify the equipment
- STOCK TAKE periodical stock take of our Faresin systems divided by category , verification of quantity availability on material upon request of office assistant
- SUPPLIER local and International (forms + photos) creation of folder and entering in warehouse software with creation of the official document
- CONTAINER Check, control and counting with packing list of equipment received
- WAREHOUSE management of jobs and warehouse priorities particular attention on each movements in/out of the equipment that has to be reported with the specific document & photo
- YARD ORDER preparation ( labelled with costumer name, contract and project name) , checking update and manage the multiple delivery and communication with customers for delivery date
- Organization of work schedule of yard employee
- Manage list of maintenance, not recoverable items (oil, screw nuts etc) and give to account office for order.
Skills and abilities:
- Ability to use Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Holder of a valid driver's license and forklift license
