St Philip’s Christian College Gosford is one of the leading independent educators in the Newcastle / Central Coast / Hunter Region. We are a non-denominational Christian School with an open enrolment policy. Currently, we are seeking a full time Classroom Teacher with an interest in leadership to join us. The teaching role is offered on a full-time permanent basis and the Stage Two Leader role is offered for the remainder of 2024. This would be a perfect opportunity for an interested teacher to take the opportunity to step into leadership. For the remainder of 2024, this role would involve teaching Year Four and leading the Stage Two team.

The successful applicant will:
• Promote the Christian vision and ethos of the school and broader organisation.
• Demonstrate a living relationship with Jesus Christ.
• Possess appropriate tertiary teaching qualifications and approval to teach as recognised by NESA.
• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all relevant NSW syllabus documents.
• Demonstrate experience or an interest in leading a small team of teachers.
• Exhibit positive classroom management skills and a desire to pastorally support and disciple the students.
• Display a high level of interpersonal skills leading to constructive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Demonstrate a proven capacity to work effectively in a team and to actively support team members.
• Display excellent organisation and communication skills, both written and oral.
