The Role
Assist with the implementation and supervision of after school and school holiday activities for young people 12-24 years at Belmore Youth Resource Centre, including Twilight Sports on Friday/Saturday nights as required.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Engage and supervise the after school and school holiday activities at Belmore Youth Resource Centre, including Twilight Sports program.
- Ensure the youth and or their families are able to access appropriate services through the provision of information, support and referrals.
- Understand and actioning the Youth Action Plan 2020-2024.
- Ensure reporting requirements are completed including data collection and reports in accordance with DCJ Funding Agreement.

You will have:
- Minimum TAFE Certificate IV in Community Services (Youth Work and/or Community Services Work) or equivalent minimum 12 months of related experience.
- Working with Children Check
- Experience in working with community group and providing support and advice to service providers and residents preferably in relation to young people.
- Experience in conducting youth related social recreational programs
- Knowledge of government legislation and funding programs relating to young people, including child protection
- Skills in the use of a range of computer applications including Word, Excel, Internet and email.
The salary range for this opportunity commences at $67,370 (Grade D, Step 1) + 11% super. Salary may be negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
