Zone Training Delivery Officer, Clerk Grade 5/6
· Work in a leading emergency service agency, supporting SES members and NSW communities
· Join a high-performing and motivated training team with a focus on people development and career progression
· 1 x Temporary position to July 2024, with the possibility of becoming ongoing (permanent), is available in Wagga Wagga
· A Talent Pool for ongoing positions will be created for the following locations: Wagga Wagga, Goulburn and Wollongong.
· Attractive salary between $93,295.00- $102,941.00 with 15% Field Allowance, 11 % super and leave loading.
What you'll be doing
The NSW SES has an exciting opportunity for a training professional looking to utilise and expand their skills and knowledge while working with a team of dedicated staff and volunteers. You will utilise your skills to coordinate the implementation of training plans, building capability and capacity within a dynamic emergency service agency. Further, you will support delivery of NSW SES training and exercises that enables the successful and sustainable implementation of the State-Wide Training and Exercise Plan.

About you

  • To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Proven experience facilitating/coordinating training courses and/or Training Delivery experience
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Effective planning skills and a well-organised and structured working style. The ability to coordinate/facilitate learning in a face-to-face, virtual, individual and group training and/or assessment environment
  • Proficient computer skills, including the use of Microsoft Office and administration of Learning Management Systems
  • Enterprise Trainer and Assessor Skill Sets (TAESS00015) or equivalent/higher, OR a commitment to obtain within 12 months, fully supported and funded by NSW SES.
  • Knowledge of AIIMS principles and functions and/or willingness to obtain within 12 months
