1 Pae Lawyer

Are you a lawyer looking for a better fit? We are looking for a lawyer ready to join our friendly and supportive small team. 

We have available a position for a 1 PAE Lawyer or newly admitted lawyer. The role involves Client contact, attendance at Court, provision of support to the firm’s Principal and other Practitioners. The areas of practice will be predominately Family and Criminal Law, with opportunity to experience some work in the areas of Commercial, Property and Estates law. 

We are looking for a Lawyer who:

·      Has an approachable demeanor and demonstratable soft skills to assist our Client’s in resolving their matters quickly, fairly, with the appropriate support and guidance;

·      Is interested in part time or full time work;

·      Has experience in practice across multiple areas of law (although not a requirement for the role);

·      Has an ability to work both independently and with others;

·      A Pragmatic approach to the Management of legal Matters.

We are open to flexible work arrangements, so if you would like to work either on Part time or Full time basis, please advise us accordingly. Work from home is available only on a limited basis as the role is pre-dominantly located in our Coolum Office.

 What you will need

·      At least 1 year experience working in a law firm;

·      Current working knowledge of the Court’s Practices, Process and Forms;

·      Experience in Negotiation, Dispute Resolution and the appropriate Carriage of a legal matter;

·      Strong Technical Skills and an ability to adapt to the changing technical landscape;
