The role

Reporting to the Credit Supervisor and based at our Essendon Fields office, your job is the reduction of aged debt in accordance with monthly targets whilst optimizing the efficiency of Days Sales Outstanding. You’ll need to proactively monitor the assessment of credit risks and work closely with key stake holders to maximise debtor results.

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Proactively encourage and monitor the assessment of credit risk
• Identify and advise on areas that require change management
• Identify ways to minimise risk and improve on cash
• Investigate and understand risks pertaining to customer groups, geographical regions, divisions, industry sector information and current affairs
• Developing initiatives which enhance the efficiency of terms of trade
• Work in conjunction with Credit Manager to ensure accurate cash forecasting and budgetary planning
• Creating strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

What we are looking for:

• Technically savvy, bring your excellent SAP knowledge to the team
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills 
• Self-motivated with the ability to work well with tight deadlines
• You are a confident, proactive and highly organised
• You are a great communicator, enabling you to form strong relationships with internal and external customers
• You enjoy being accountable and possess a real “Can do “attitude
• You are a natural problem solver with a passion for continues improvement
