Both clients are well respected within the Medical/healthcare Industry and are actively seeking to appoint highly motivated individuals to commence ASAP.Position 1 (Greenslopes Private Hospital)Our first client, a team of friendly and well recognised physicians located at Greenslopes Private Hospital are offering a part time permanent position, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (3 days a week), 8:00am to 5:00pm each day. The practice is busy and dynamic and well supported by a full time Medical Receptionist, practice manager and an outsourced medical transcription service.As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients visiting this practice. Your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding customer service and administrative support to ensure smooth day to day clinic operations.Position 2 (Sunnybank Private Hospital)Our second client, a long standing Surgical Practice, located at Sunnybank Private Hospital are offering a part time position, working Monday - Thursday (8:30am to 4:30pm). This position also requires the successful candidate to run an offsite clinic in Windsor twice within a four week period. Hours would be a Tuesday (10am to 4pm) and Thursday (Windsor 9am to 12pm then, Sunnybank (1:30pm - 4:30pm). It is essential for the successful candidate to hold a current and open driver's licence and have access to a car.In this position, the Medical Receptionist is supported by the Senior Medical Secretary and Business Manager. This is a fast-paced practice that requires an individual who can think on their feet and adapt to changes quickly.Key duties and responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Meet and greet patients and visitors to the practice with a warm and welcoming demeanour
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the booking system efficiently
- Take all incoming telephone calls, respond to patient enquiries and relay messages from patients to the specialists accurately and within a timely manner
- Verify patient information, update patients' medical records, and assist with associated consultation paperwork
- Maintain the front desk reception area, in all aspects of presentation, stock control and the seated patient waiting area
- Collaborate with the specialists and the team of administration staff to facilitate patient care as required
- Previous experience in a Medical Receptionist or administrative role preferred
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task effectively
- Proficiency in computer systems and familiarity with medical software platforms such as Genie and/or Gentu software
- Compassionate and professional demeanour, with a commitment to patient care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
