Form of work THE POSITION: The Social Planning and Community Development Division of Fairfield City Council seeks to improve access to opportunities and services required to address disadvantage. This Division works with a range of sectors including youth, aged, people with disability, and families as well across a range of issues such as diversity, inclusion, homelessness, community safety and health in a community with a high level of residents who were born overseas from a multiplicity of cultures, faith and language backgrounds, many being humanitarian entrants to Australia. The Business Support Officer’s Team works with the Social Planning and Community Development other Council teams. The Business Support Officer collaborates with the business unit and/or branch, providing administrative and operational support to facilitate the delivery of project and business objectives.
