Since 1903 Manly Golf Club is a proud private members Golf Club and Events centre.
"Immaculate Manly" as it is colloquially known boasts a Peter Thomson designed Top 100 golf course with pristine playing surfaces that simply leaves golfers wanting for more.
Without resting simply on its golfing pedigree, the Club through its heritage listed Clubhouse and world class catering team justifiably holds a place in the Australian Bridal Industry Hall of Fame.

About The Role:
This is a key position within the Course maintenance team, working directly alongside the Golf Course Superintendent and Senior Assistant Superintendent.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual that will be hands on in the day-to-day management and future development and planning of the course.
This is a great opportunity for an 2nd Assistant Superintendent or Course Foreman with a number of years experience looking to take the next step in their career.

The Candidate:
Our team is always welcome to candidates with a friendly disposition and a positive can do attitude. For this particular role it is essential the successful candidate has :
- Minimum Cert III in Turf Management or equivalent qualifications
- AQF 3 spray licence or equivalent
- Sound knowledge of all aspects of turf management and weed control
- Strong knowledge of chemicals and fertilisers
- Strong knowledge of irrigation
- Knowledge of WHS policies and procedures
- Prior experience managing a team
It is also desirable for the candidate to possess the following key qualifications and experience :
- Strong work ethic and can-do attitude,
- Good communication skills,
- Current driver’s licence

Principal Job Purpose:
- Help promote player satisfaction through quality maintenance and communications
- Work directly with Course Superintendent and Senior Assistant Superintendent and other key staff members/management to constantly improve the golf course, club grounds, maintenance facility and all safety programs
- Help schedule and supervise the daily operations of the course maintenance staff
- Train, motivate and supervise the staff in a capable manner
