Form of workBega Country Club is currently seeking toemployee an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent or bowling green keeper whichwill join a small turf management team.
Working hours are 40 hours a week withweekend work on a rotating roster. Additional overtime may be required onoccasions throughout the year for special events and busy periods. In additionto all leave entitlements staff are entitled to a RDO once a month.
PositionSummary:This is a keyposition within the Golf Course Working directly with the Golf CourseSuperintendent to help develop a daily work schedule and coordinate the relatedactivities and necessary equipment with the staff.
Responsible fortraining, supervision and reviewing of Golf Course employees along withsupervision of construction projects and specific maintenance activities on theGolf Course and bowling greens
Qualifications &Attributes:- Current driver’s license
- Hold a recognized Turf Management Qualification (Certificate III minimum)
- Chemical certification & a strong knowledge of application methods.
- Sound knowledge of WHS requirements.
- Experience in irrigation maintenance, repairs, and programming.
- Experience in managing and leading teams.
