THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently seeking a second to fourth year Electrical Security Systems Apprentice who is tech-savvy and has a genuine interest in working in a changing technological industry.
Our client, Siemens, are a globally respected company, specialising in electrification, automation, and digitalisation. Siemens are one of the world’s largest producers of energy-efficient, resource-saving technologies. They are a leading supplier of systems for power generation and transmission as well as medical diagnosis. They also play a pioneering role in infrastructure and industry solutions.
In this apprenticeship you will learn how to commission, install, maintain, and fix both wired and wireless Security Systems in commercial and industrial premises. You will also learn how to use drawings, diagrams, schedules, standards, codes, and specifications in a security equipment setting.
Undertaking this four-year apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to become a qualified Security Installation Technician and earn your UEE31420 Security Equipment qualification
Ideally you will have:
- Enrolment as a 2nd to 4th year Security Systems apprentice is essential
- A passion for a career in a changing technological industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Problem solving skills
- Punctuality and reliability
- EWP preferred but not essential
- Excellent safety awareness
- Current drivers licence P Plate min
- White Card
- Ability to successfully pass a Medical, D&A and a Police Check
