Hastings Deering (Australia) LtdWe are currently recruiting for a 794 Fleet Performance Manager to join our Mackay-based team on a permanent fulltime basis.
Reporting to the Regional Manager – Fleet Performance, the role exists to drive and manage Fleet Performance of the 794 Fleets operating primarily at Thiess Curragh and Olive Downs sites. The successful candidate will work closely with the customer and the broader dealership to deliver best in class fleet reliability & performance of these fleets ensuring lowest TCO is achieved for the customer.
This role will involve the following key duties and responsibilities:
- Work closely with customer reliability teams to ensure strategies are implemented to manage issues and implement solutions in a timely manner.
- Work closely with on-site HD field service teams to ensure priorities and focus is placed on the right tasks to deliver reliabile performance
- Assist the customer with haul road and productivity related opportunities that improve cycle times, payload and tonnes per hour
- Leverage key stakeholder, roles & responsibilities with HD and Caterpillar to support customer’s Fleet Performance (CMA’s, Lifecycle Costing, Product Managers, CVA’s, etc)
- Develop and manage processes to measure & analyse drivers and impacts of lifecycle activities utilising the responsible functions with HD and Caterpillar
- Development and management of reliability & Fleet Performance improvement plans
About You
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Minimum seven years’ experience as a reliability specialist or similar within a diversified Company
- Demonstrable experience in establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial customer relationships and vendor engagement
- Previous experience working in the mining, mining services or heavy equipment industries
- Intermediate understanding of Hastings Deering and Caterpillar support systems or similar
- Intermediate parts product knowledge and a strong familiarity with the prime product fleet to be managed
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering or equivalent work experience will be considered advantageously
