The role of A04 Senior Infrastructure Support Officer in Housing Infrastructure is a key position dedicated to managing residential lease negotiations, renewals, and property portfolio maintenance for departmental provided accommodation across Queensland. This role requires a candidate with strong organisational and communication skills, as well as the ability to navigate property management issues, offer advisory support on legislative compliance, and contribute to the resolution of lease disputes. Key Responsibilities:Oversees residential lease negotiations and renewals for departmental provided accommodation.Maintains accurate data on the departmental property portfolio.Provides specialist advice and support to clients and key stakeholders on property management issues.Offers advisory support to school staff regarding residential legislative compliance.Assists in lease dispute resolution as they arise.Examines, processes, and resolves issues with invoices, particularly excess water charges, and determines appropriate solutions for private leases.Provides assistance to other team members as required.Qualifications and Skills: The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following:Effective communication and organisational skills, including strong consultation and negotiation skills.Knowledge of contemporary property and residential tenancy management legislation, or the ability to acquire such knowledge.Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build collaborative and effective relationships.Research and analysis skills to initiate, monitor, and report on tenancy and leasing projects and programs.Requirements:Relevant experience in Infrastructure Support, property management, or a related field.No mandatory qualifications, but a demonstrated ability to meet the outlined responsibilities effectively.Willingness to stay informed about changes in property and residential tenancy management legislation.Ability to work collaboratively in a team and provide support as needed.Prospective candidates are invited to submit their resumes and cover letters outlining their suitability for the position.
