About the position
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Rostering Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing employee schedules and ensuring that all shifts are adequately staffed. The new Rosters Officer will work closely with the existing team of Team Leaders to ensure that staffing needs are met and that employees are scheduled in accordance with company policies and procedures.
This is an office based position from our offices in Virginia, Brisbane North reporting to the Team Leaders. This role will be in addition to the current X3 Team Leeaders & Rosters Officer.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain employee schedules for all NDIS Participants & Support Workers.
- Ensure that all shifts are adequately staffed
- Work closely with Team Leaders to identify staffing needs
- Ensure that all scheduling is completed in accordance with company policies, SCHADS Award
- Communicate with staff, stakeholders & clients regarding their schedules
- Maintain accurate records of employee schedules and attendance
- Approval of Time & Attendance for employees
- Oncall Rostering for After Hours Roster Coverage on rotation
- Incident Reporting & other reporting as required.
Salary
- Level 3 SCHADS Award + Oncall Allowance, negotiable.

Qualifications or Experience
- 5+ years experience as a Rosters Officer in NDIS, Youth or Aged Care in a Supervisory, Leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of Social, Community Home and Disability Award (SCHADS) and its application.
- Extensive experience in Workforce Planning & rapport building with internal and external stakeholders.
- Availability to do Oncall Afterhours on a rotation, monitoring of phone systems.
- Strong administration, organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Office Packages
