About the role
Clarence Community Health is seeking an Aboriginal Health Worker to provide flexible, holistic, culturally acceptable and accessible community maternity care to Aboriginal women and the partners of Aboriginal men and their families in equal partnership with the Aboriginal Maternal Infant Health Service (AMIHS) Midwife to achieve better health outcomes and better access to health services for Aboriginal people.
Female (designated specifically as a female position under section 31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act) and of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent. Aboriginality is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised by section 14(d) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977
