Academic Program Developer
- Employment Type: Full-time (35 hours per week)
- Duration: Fixed Term Contract until May 2025
- Remuneration: From $106k + 17% Super and leave loading
- Location: Kensington, NSW (Hybrid Flexible Working)
Why Your Role Matters:
The Academic Program Developer is responsible for supporting the implementation of existing academic development programs and initiatives for UNSW educators, including administration, quality assurance and facilitation. This role is expected to work collaboratively with other PVCE teams, the wider portfolio, faculties and schools.
Who You Are:
You will hold a relevant qualification, or equivalent competence gained through any combination of education, training and experience relevant to educational programs and initiatives alongside:
- Demonstrated ability in the use of educational technologies including web-based learning management systems to facilitate learning and the ability to identify avenues for innovation and improvement in learning resources.
- Demonstrated capacity for effective project and resource management and experience in contributing to academic development programs, projects and initiatives.
- Proven experience contributing to the design and delivery of high-quality training programs and resources to academic staff, professional staff and students, with a customer focused approach.
- High-level problem-solving skills and ability to exercise initiative and autonomy in interacting with and critically evaluating new and emerging educational technologies for academic development programs to enhance the educational offering.
- Strong service orientation and client focused together with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive and professional relationships.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively and to contribute positively and proactively to the team’s work.
