About the Role
As an Account Director, your primary responsibility is to drive up-sell and cross-sell business opportunities across Australia, with a focus on engaging large blue-chip organizations. This individual contributor role demands a high level of commercial acumen, targeting C-Level Executives. You will identify, qualify, and convert sales opportunities to achieve set targets. The role requires strategic thinking to create and execute long-term sales plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities
- Convert opportunities with existing clients, achieving set sales targets and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction
- Engage in consultative sales with C-Level Executives
- Develop and execute long-term sales plans
- Collaborate with a supporting team of Marketing, Analysts, Product Owners, and Operations
- Demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas
- Possess highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills, particularly with C-level executives in finance, legal, and procurement
- Have key account management experience in complex selling situations
- Utilize a consultative sales approach
- Exhibit articulate communication, strong writing, and presentation skills
- Demonstrate proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Apply social and digital selling techniques effectively
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple critical priorities
- Have a strong work ethic with a "can-do, roll-up-sleeves" attitude
