This opportunity sits in our Corporate/Consumer PR team, specialising in finance, fintech, B2B and tech PR work that helps shape brand narratives and contributes to creating stories that drive financial education and inclusion.The role:As the Account Director - FinTech (AD), you will assume direct responsibility for every aspect of the day-to-day management of client work in the FinTech/Corporate team. You will be responsible for developing efficient pitching strategies, translating data and insights into great stories and fostering relationships with the media and the client. New business is also an important opportunity for this role, and you will have the chance to work closely with the leadership to bring new accounts, strengthen our partnership with Fintech Australia and stretch your network with exciting opportunities within the Dentsu Group. As our next AD, you will ensure tasks are completed effectively, work is carried out to the high standards set, deadlines are met, budgets are properly created and managed, above-average results are achieved and appropriately presented, and clients are happy.Core responsibilities:Provides counsel to clients; establishes and builds key client relationshipsOversees and leads a wide variety of communications programmes across multiple channels that meet client objectivesCreates the development of plans, proposals, results reports, creative briefs and other communications documentsDevelops relationships in Financial Services, Tech and other corporate industriesManages a direct report and oversees a broader team of resources nationallyProvides counselling around corporate/finance pitches to our national dentsu teams across different accountsOrganises, directs, and collaborates effectively across teams to achieve results.Manages client finances together with Group Business Director and finance team, including allocation of resources and time managementMaintains routine contact with key client stakeholders when appropriate.
