This role will work closely across the Primo business groups to identify new opportunities and bring category and shopper insights to the customer that result in strategies being developed to achieve growth. To lead and drive sales strategy for prolonged future growth in the Export channel and QSR channels. Direct the sales & marketing business strategies and activities of the Export business to achieve revenue and profitability targets.Responsibilities include:
- Be the Export markets and QSR channel expert within Primo, championing your markets and accounts strategy and ensuring this information is proactively cascaded throughout the organisation to optimise the development of the channels.
- Set strategic direction to achieve sales growth and set budget targets within designated channels.
- Drive end to end supply chain for the export channel
- Design and implement the export and QSR channels strategies.
- Manage sales performance & distribution metrics of Primo range
- Develop & implement relevant trade marketing strategies within budget
- Responsible for setting pricing and trading strategies to maximise returns while maintaining competitiveness
- Continually identify opportunities and set objectives to improve distribution efficiency
- Provide strong leadership and motivation to all Primo Team Members.
- Maintain and improve Primo relationship with all relevant Customer and Distributors Contacts at all levels.
- Develop a robust joint business plan that ensures a collaborative approach to profitably grow both businesses.
- Focus on optimising Primo branded products availability and visibility within Customer stores and markets
- Proactively monitor and review cost price fluctuations to maximise contribution including the delivery of cost increase negotiations
- Member of the Sales and Extended Leadership teams (SLT & ELT)
- Ownership and management of the forecast process and understand implications of Customer Changes and opportunities / solutions.
- Ownership and management of all contributors to the Channel P&L to identify & enhance variables to improve profitability and growth.
- Monitor & create action plans to ensure all costs are managed within budget.
- 5-7 years experience in a similar role in a fast paced FMCG environment
- Degree in business or marketing related field. Masters or MBA desirable
- A proven track record of successful sales achievement, performance and business improvement initiatives
- Outstanding commercial accumen and strong knowledge of sales export to ensure customers needs were met
- Understanding and awerness of cultural differences in dealing in overseas markets, particularly Asia
- Experience in sales, export, and marketing or related function with understanding of sales processes
- Asian language skills highly preferable
- Master at delivering high quality customer & client service, providing customers with options and solutions
- Strong written communication skills - ability to structure logical presentations and communicate points clearly
- Master at forecasting future trends, managing budgets and evaluate market information
- Excellent Analytical and Financial Management abilities
