We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Account Executive to join a fun and very successful insurance firm based in inner east Melbourne who are growing at a rapid rate.
This role will provide you with managing your own portfolio of accounts and expert mentorship. You will be guided by seasoned industry leaders who are not just brokers but respected leaders in their field. This is your chance to learn from the best and accelerate your professional development.
THE ROLE
- Assisting in comprehensive portfolio management, overseeing individual client renewals from start to finish.
- Analysing client risk profiles and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver tailored risk solutions.
- Offering concise and informed general insurance advice to clients, involving the creation of detailed reports and coverage summaries.
- Skillfully negotiating with underwriters on behalf of clients, serving as a dedicated advocate.
- Supporting inbound new business
- Presenting renewal terms to clients
- Diligent renewal management to secure business retention, addressing policy inquiries, and managing alterations
- Assist the Director and Senior Account Manager on larger accounts

WHO ARE YOU?
The successful candidate must be able to manage, develop and maintain long term meaningful working relationships with key clients at all levels.
In addition, the successful candidate will have:
- Relevant general insurance experience in broking, 2 years plus preferably
- Experience across construction (DBI/Warranty preferred but not mandatory)
- Completed Tier 1
- Exceptional customer service skills
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Strong relationship management skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Positive attitude and driven to succeed
