Account Manager - Commercial Insurance (SME Book)

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to manage and grow an existing book of SME clients. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, proactive client management, and a deep understanding of commercial insurance products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for a portfolio of SME clients.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Handle policy administration, including renewals, endorsements, and claims.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and renewal terms.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with insurers.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
- Provide prompt client support and assist with the claims process.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years in commercial insurance, preferably in account management.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional designations (e.g., CPCU, CIC) are a plus.
