JEM Promotional Products has been in existence for over 23 years and prides itself on the high level of service we provide to our clients.
We have a large number of blue chip clients, Australia wide, which are well known household names so require a committed and energetic Account Manager to assist with the management of these accounts.
Building relationships with marketing managers and other key stakeholders is essential so requires an applicant with high levels of professionalism in this field.
Attention to detail, whilst muti-tasking, working closely with our clients to provide seamless solutions to their procurement and distribution requirements through our client webshop platforms.
Job tasks and responsibilities
A normal day for an Account Manager at JEM Promotional Products consists of:
- Manage a database of existing clients who place regular orders.
- Respond to client enquiries generated via the website and from existing clients.
- Business developement tasks to identify new opportunities
- Researching promotional merchandise and corporate apparel to source and preparing proposals and presentations for clients' campaigns and events.
- Interpreting client brief's for promotional campaigns and suggesting products in a creative manner that are faithful to the brand's guidelines and compliments our clients' marketing campaigns.
- Learn all aspects of the manufacture and distribution of the promotional merchandise and apparel industry.
- On the job training of various programs such as ACT, Wordpress, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
- Manage client webshops by adding new products as required and to ensure ideal stock levels are maintained.
Skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude with a desire to learn new skills. No experience is required but a keen desire to learn about the promotional products industry is a must.
JEM Promotional Products has an extensive training program for motivated candidates who can demonstrate the right qualities but have no experience.
Suits applicants with a creative flair and with an interest in the sales and marketing or graphic design industries.
Job benefits and perks
JEM Promotional Products has in place a generous commission structure that aims to reward high achieving Account Managers. Uncapped commission is paid monthly in addition to the salary so expect to earn well in excess of the base salary.
