The purpose of the Account Manager role is to support the Account Director in delivery on the account, managing the capabilities and team to ensure on-time delivery and excellence in execution. This is a key role in driving collaboration internally and externally with the client and partners.

What your typical day will look like:
As the Account Manager, you will take responsibility and be a key day-to-day liaison for the agency’s leading Retail client, along with our internal specialist teams, and Partners. You will play a key role in leading projects and campaigns from briefing through to post campaign analysis.
Core responsibilities include:
- Lead client WIPs and establish project timelines, serving as a key point of contact throughout the creative process to ensure clear expectations are met and delivered.
- By being proactive and agile in managing clients and internal teams, you ensure timely delivery of briefs and alignment of the necessary resources.
- Interrogating and challenging briefs, and driving feedback to ensure clarity, thereby setting up the agency to produce next-level campaigns.
- Support the team in managing the creative process and consistently deliver projects and campaigns to budget, deadline, on brief and to the highest standards.
- Foster strong relationships internally across DC and the wider Dentsu network, with clients, and partners.
- Deliver innovative and creative solutions to client briefs, review plans to drive greater margin and value through innovation and better ways of working
- Partnering with the Account Directors in researching, preparing, presenting, and implementing high quality business proposals for the client
A bit about you:
- You come with at least 1-2 years’ experience in account management, preferably in an agency environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail, planning, decision-making and organisational skills.
- You demonstrate initiative – proactive rather than reactive, a strategic thinker and doer who is hungry to learn and looks for ways to make a positive impact.
- You have a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape and how they impact clients.
- A basic understating of the creative and production process across varied channels.
