About the role
This is a permanent, full time position partnering with our New South Wales Child, Youth and Families teams to provide generalist HR advice and support. You will be working in a fast paced, agile environment where resilience and a partnership approach will be key to your success.
This position offers the flexibility to work from your preferred location, whether that is your home or from one of our offices located in NSW. There will be occasions when you will be expected to work from the office and occasional travel will be part of this role.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Client Services Managers to achieve their business and leadership objectives
- Provide advice, support and coaching to leaders on a range of complex and sensitive IR/ER or HR issues
- Respond to, support and manage, issues as they arise relating to complaints, grievances, conduct matters and performance issues
- Respond to general HR enquiries as required
Skills & Experience
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources
- Experience as an HR generalist and experience in IR/ER
- Understanding of the Australian Industrial Relations System and EEO practices and principles as they apply within the Territory
- Demonstrated ability to develop business partnerships with all levels and in geographically dispersed locations
- Solution focused with strong influencing skills
- Experience working in a fluid and changing environment
