We are currently seeking a dynamic and driven Account Manager to join our team in Brisbane to cover the area west of Brisbane.
Job Purpose
As an Account Manager, your primary mission is to expand The Pool Tile Company's presence in the Brisbane market specifically west of Brisbane and Toowoomba and surrounds. You will be responsible for maintaining, developing, and nurturing relationships with pool builders, builders, architects and landscapers, identifying growth opportunities, and driving sales through exceptional customer service and client selection consultations. This role will be performed mostly on the road, from a home office and at times working from our Headquarters located near the Brisbane Airport.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Grow The Pool Tile Company's business west of Brisbane by building strong client relationships.
- Research and target potential clients to develop effective sales strategies.
- Cultivate relationships with new clients and stay updated on industry trends and competitors.
Sales
- Use our mobile showroom van to showcase products to home owners and trade customers.
- Identify new sales opportunities within the sales territory.
- Increase brand and product awareness among key stakeholders.
- Develop call plans for customers, document interactions in SAP, and manage the sales pipeline.
Client Selection Consultations
- Provide in-home consultations, assisting with tile selections, offering expert advice and accurate quotations.
- Maintain product knowledge and mobile showroom presentation.
- Handle order processing and client follow-ups efficiently.
General
- Attend Sales Meetings and provide timely reporting of activities.
- Participate in local trade shows as needed.
About You
- Ideally, reside west of Brisbane.
- Proven experience in account management and business development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Honed organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
- A proactive attitude with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service at all times. You must enjoy dealing with people and be committed to helping clients to find the best products to suit their project and requirements.
- An interest in design.
- Knowledge of the construction or pool industry is a plus but not essential. Full product training will be provided.
- Must be computer literate and able to learn new computer programmes. Training in our company systems and processes will be provided.
- Valid driver's license.
