As part of our strategy to support our farmers feed the world, we have started an exciting change to our sales structure, and as a result are looking for three new Account Managers to cover the following regions; 

  • Northern Victoria/ West NSW
  • South Australia/ Northern Territory

Job Summary: What a day in your new role may look like 

As one of our new Account Managers you will provide the interface between AGCO, its dealer partners, and customers within the designated area of responsibility.

By successfully implementing all sales and marketing activities within the area of responsibility and align all brand activities by driving dealer performance through formulating business plans and strategies to achieve sales budget.

Your Impact

  • You will be the interface between the AGCO, its dealer partners, and the customers. 
  • Maintain a regular call cycle with the dealer partners within the area of responsibility. (We document and report our dealer visits via the Dealer Visit Report functionality within Salesforce).
  • Area Action Plans - create, maintain, and coordinate Area Action Plans for their assigned region on a quarterly basis. 
  • Sales Forecasts - facilitate, and review dealer partner forecasts in line with corporate requirements in conjunction with key AGCO stakeholders. 
  • Inventory Management - Ensure correct and accurate management and reporting of all pending retail orders and installations. 
  • Product and Systems Training - Co-ordinate & identify all training requirements for dealer partners and their employees at a local level. 
  • Work closely with Sales stakeholders and Marketing Communications to ensure all dealer partners actively promote the AGCO product range. 
  • Support all sales activities related to field days, customer events and dealer partner promotions f
  • Work with key AGCO stakeholders to ensure that AGCO has a relationship with both existing and potential key accounts. This includes relationships with retail customers as well as government councils and corporate customers.
  • Distribution Development - Work closely with key AGCO stakeholders, to ensure that all distribution points comply with current dealer partner standards. 
  • Work with Dealer Partners to ensure ongoing engagement in their Dealer Bonus plans.
  • Manage and motivate dealer partners and their sales staff to ensure a profitable business model is achieved.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of sales and marketing practices suited to the agricultural sector.
  • Working knowledge of multiple franchise dealer partner channels
  • Working knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel & Salesforce
  • Experience within manufacturing and / or agricultural industry would be beneficial.
