About the role:
Fathom, a member of the Access Group, offers seamless integration with leading financial accounting providers, helping businesses gain the deep insights they need to power their decisions and transform the way they see and use their financial and non-financial data. Our customers are a varied mix of accounting firms, SME’s, large brands, and franchise groups.
About you:
We are looking for an Account Manager to join our diverse and rapidly expanding team and help us deliver our growth targets across the APAC region. You’ll work as a member of the Global Customer Success team and be a key point of contact across our business advisory & accountant channel here in Australia, New Zealand, and the rest of the Asia Pacific region.
Day-to-day, you will:
- Be our customers’ ‘co-pilot, proactively engaging with them and providing education and excellent customer service, to ensure they can get the most value and full capabilities of the Access Fathom products.
- Take responsibility for a portfolio of customers, guiding them throughout their journey with Fathom from onboarding to expansion, and fostering and maintaining strong relationships with them.
- Become a product and account growth expert and provide training and support to customers, aligning to their short, medium and long term needs and goals and helping them develop an implementation strategy to scale effectively.
- Understand the customers’ needs, provide guidance and help them to grow their business by supporting them effectively with training, implementation and sharing best practices.
- Understand any challenges our customers have in terms of using the product or barriers to growth, taking appropriate action including resolving queries and advocating for product development through the appropriate channels.
- Coordinate with our marketing, sales and support teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.
- Present webinars and other demonstrations of the product and collaborate with our international teams on exciting new products and initiatives.
As a well-rounded Account Manager, your Skills and Experiences likely include:
- Experience in accounting/finance and/or are able to interpret basic financial reports (an accounting qualification is ideal, but not essential).
- Strong written and communications skills.
- The ability to identify and actualize opportunities for customer growth.
- A desire to talk with customers and foster long-term relationships with them.
- A familiarity with cloud-based technologies, and their practical benefits.
- A background working in customer success or as an account executive or Account Manager – ideally within a SaaS environment.
