We are looking for a passionate, design-driven account specialist to lead our Victorian Great Dane and Hästens Architect & Designer contract sales business. This unique environment combines two leading Scandinavian design destinations for the first time in Australia.
Established in 2002,Great Dane curates bespoke furniture, lighting and interior objects that are timeless, intimate and tell meaningful stories. Founded in 1852, Hästens is committed to providing people around the world with extraordinary beds and the best sleep possible.As part of the Great Dane| Hästens team, based in our Fitzroy showroom, you will be consulting to and working with our Architecture and Design clients proposing designs from our furniture, lighting and bedding collections for their projects. You will ensure we are meeting our client's expectations to deliver an exceptional level of service. This role will involve you collaborating with our retail and marketing teams and the role reports to the Victorian State Manager. You will also be further developing the Hästens brand throughout the Architecture and Design community in Victoria to drive specification and sales. Key Responsibilities:
- Consulting and communicating with clients about their projects and proposing solutions from our collection to meet their specific requirements
- Launching the Hästens brand into the A&D community and generating sales
- Generating and managing quotes and sales, reporting regularly to advise on an expected pipeline for orders
- Proactively searching for new opportunities with both our existing clients and looking for new business development opportunities
- Developing a comprehensive technical knowledge of our products along with the stories and background of the makers we work with
- Successfully managing client relationships through all stages of projects from initial brief to completion
- Working with the retail team to ensure the end user in-showroom experience is exemplary
- Maintaining accountability for projects until final payment is received
- Presenting our furniture and lighting collections by visiting design studios and hosting clients in our Fitzroy showroom
- Achieving monthly, quarterly and annual sales budgets which are set for you
