They are currently seeking a talented Finance Manager to lead their finance division. This role will initially be on a temporary basis with a clear intention to transition to a permanent position. The role
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be the finance leader, positioning you for potential advancement to Financial Controller or CFO in the near future. You will oversee a team of 5 accounting professionals, with responsibilities that include:
- Oversight of the Month End Process with a willingness to be hands-on if required
- Providing Commercial insights to the executive team
- Business partnering with operations to drive financial performance
- Leading Finance Transformation initiatives, including potential future upgrades to MS Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Oversight of Management reports with the ability to enhance reporting, dashboards, and insights
- Budgeting and Forecasting to ensure financial targets are met
- Managing cash flow and working capital to optimize financial stability
- Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Conducting financial analysis and providing strategic recommendations to support decision-making
- Ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, including statutory accounts and tax filings
- Leading the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors
- Driving cost control initiatives and identifying opportunities for cost savings
- Mentoring and developing the finance team to enhance their skills and performance

Your experience
- CA or CPA Qualification
- Prior management experience, particularly in leading and developing finance teams
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Proven ability to provide commercial insights and strategic recommendations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Experience in process improvement and driving operational efficiencies
- A willingness to work in the office 4 days per week, with the opportunity to work from home on Friday
- High level of integrity and professionalism with a commitment to ethical standards and continuous improvement
