The Opportunity
As the Account Manager Major Development you will manage, assess, review, and approve various major land development applications, including coordination of various Hunter Water stakeholders, facilitating all phases of the land development process.
What you'll do:
- Review and approve a range of Land Development applications including subsequent Section 50 approvals.
- Facilitating and building key stakeholder relationship with development community.
- Coordinating Hunter Water's relationship with the Major Projects and Planning Portals.
- Coordinating Developer Servicing strategies including providing detailed servicing advice to developers.
- Maintain a current knowledge of regulatory, legislative, environmental and technical changes that may impact
- Hunter Water's services and requirements.
What you'll need to be successful:
Essential Criteria:
- Degree in Engineering, or equivalent Technical Diploma with relevant industry experience.
- Strong customer service focus.
- Knowledge of water and wastewater supply network functions.
- Knowledge of IT systems, particularly MS Office.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- Substantial experience in water and wastewater network operations, asset management, design and/or construction.
- Hydraulic modelling of water supply and wastewater supply networks.
