Your new role
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and marketing campaigns to drive fleet sales.
- Build strong relationships with fleet customers, understand their unique needs, and provide tailored solutions.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to expand the dealership's fleet customer base.
- Collaborate with the local team to set sales goals and monitor performance against targets.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide ongoing training and development to the sales team, ensuring they have the knowledge and skills to succeed.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the dealership's management.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven 5 years+ experience as a Fleet Sales Manager in the truck fleet industry.
- In-depth knowledge of heavy-duty trucks or similar light to medium-duty trucks.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with fleet customers.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Proficiency in dealer management software and MS Office.
- Valid VIC driver's license, ideally with or open to obtaining a truck license.
