Account Management & Pre-Sales Specialist
OneBlink is Australia’s premier developer of no/low-code cloud software used by Government and Enterprise to digitise and streamline business processes. We are a recognised leader in our field with a solid customer base of Local and State Government clients across the eastern seaboard, as well as Local Government clients and partnerships throughout North America.
We have an exciting opportunity for a hybrid role that encompasses functions from Account Management (50%), Business Development (25%) and Pre-Sales (25%).
This role is ideally suited to someone who can demonstrate an enthusiastic attitude to the role and who is early in their ICT sales career, recognises there is a lot to learn but is ready for more responsibility and autonomy in their day-to-day activities.
A knowledge of, or exposure to enterprise cloud/SaaS software would be valued, along with the technical capacity to develop strong knowledge of the company’s software in order to position and demonstrate its key strengths across a wide range of customer needs.
This role requires strong communication and presentation skills, a good eye for detail, as well as the ability to work independently and manage a diverse range of activities and milestones.
This role is open to Australian citizens or permanent residents, and having a driver’s license is important as the role will require occasional local travel and in some cases interstate travel.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Support, nurture and build strong relationships with existing customers to ensure subscription renewal and retention
- Proactively engage with clients to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding our services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of services.
Business Development
- Identify new prospects and sales opportunities
- Undertake Prospecting (LinkedIn) and Lead Generation activities from internal CRM and AWS partner portal
- Monitor and follow up new prospect leads from inbound enquiries, trial subscriptions and social media (LinkedIn) outreach
- Contribute to the development of marketing materials, campaigns, and case studies to support business development efforts
Pre-Sales
- Attend and participate in trade shows and exhibitions
- Identify and respond to tenders and request for proposals (RFP)
- Demonstrate the capabilities of the SaaS product and clearly articulate how the product can meet customer needs, resolve pain points and add value
- Engage with product teams and solutions teams to help convert prospects into customers
Qualifications/Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 2+ years experience in an Account Manager/Customer Success/Pre-Sales/Sales/Business Development role
- Proven track record of building customer relationships
- Technical aptitude and the ability to quickly understand and articulate complex solutions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
It would be highly beneficial if you had any of the following experience:
- Experience with Cloud/SaaS products
- Experience in Government procurement policies including panel supply arrangements
- Experience working with partner/alliance relationships
- Experience with HubSpot and/or PipeDrive
