AddressMAYDAY Recruitment is currently searching for a detail-oriented recovery/collections/claims or Account Receivable candidate to join a global insurance company as a Claims and Collections Officer.

- Collaborate with the Head of Claims & Collections to support collection placements, non-payment notifications, and claim filings.
- Monitor and assign tasks to claims assessors, providing assistance with ad hoc requests.
- Manage emails in the claims/collection inboxes daily and follow up with internal and external collection suppliers.
- Actively promote collection placement in coordination with local commercial and risk teams.
- Execute day-to-day collection activities against third parties, from registration to invoicing and remittance.
- Serve as the primary contact for internal and external collection-related queries.
- Provide administrative support to the claims assessment team, including file setup, monitoring collection status, and preparing internal reports.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including policyholders, clients, brokers, and internal teams.
- Handle bookkeeping, administrative, commercial, and legal operations using various IT systems.
- Facilitate import and export collections with other global entities within the organization.
- Strong administration experience, within insurance & financial services
- 2+ years of collections/ claims/recoveries experience, preferably in B2B an advantage
- Experience within claims,
- Strong attention to detail,
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in IT systems and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of Australian debt collection rules is advantageous.
- Ability to work well within a team.
