Accountant

MARS Recruitment are collaborating with a Property organisation in their search for an Accountant to join them in their Bondi Junction based office. This is an opportunity to join a growing business who are rapidly growing.

The Responsibilities:

• Coordinate month-end close activities.
• Manage working capital requirements across the Group.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations for all company bank accounts.
• Batch preparation and setup of payments for Accounts Payable.
• Post credit card, ad hoc, and month-end recurring journals.
• Generate fortnightly payroll reports and process PAYG and superannuation contributions.
• Assist in preparing monthly and quarterly BAS, as well as annual payroll tax returns.
• Compile corporate ad hoc recoveries and provide supporting documentation.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager on matters involving external accountants, including tax, accounting, compliance, and other relevant issues.

The Requirements:

• CA/CPA qualifications beneficial but not required.
• 2-3 years' experience in a similar role (Assistant Accountant or Accountant)
• Confident in Excel and using large ERP systems.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

To Note:

• Full time office based in Bondi Junction, easily accessible via public transport.
• Only considering Australian Citizens or Permanent Residents at this time.
