Our client, a leading higher education provider, is seeking a Finance Project Analyst to join their team on a 12-month contract. You will will be assisting in the analysing, designing, implementing and running of efficient benefits processes for a broad portfolio of property/infrastructure, technology and strategic projects whilst undertaking change management activities including to support the organisation's community in successfully adopting enhanced processes.
This role requires a unique blend of project benefits administration experience, change management skills, finance expertise and service model/ process engineering capability.
Key Deliverables:
- Benefits Administration/Project Lifecycle: Assist projects to articulate measurable benefits. Review benefits in business case submissions for consistency and quality.
- Change Management: Assess the impact of proposed changes to benefits processes on faculty, staff, and other university stakeholders
- Financial Analysis: Conduct analysis of financial benefits, trends, and forecasts to provide insights for budgeting and strategic decision-making.
- Service Model and Process Engineering: Evaluate current benefits service offering and processes to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency, compliance and user experience.
Key Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Strategic Management, or related field.
- Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g. CA/CPA, PMP, CCMP, other project or process credentials e.g. Lean Six Sigma) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, portfolio/project lifecycle management, finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial analysis and modelling.
- Experience with project or benefits systems and/or data analysis tools.
- Demonstrated ability to manage change, influence stakeholders, and drive process improvements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to convey complex information to diverse university stakeholders.
