The CompanyPSG are working with a not for profit who value teamwork and cultivating a positive and inclusive working environment.Our client is looking for someone to join them as Senior Accountant with a focus on Grants on a 6-12 month basis.
The RoleThe ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and grant work. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close.
- Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes.
- Research and analyze expense variances for company management.
Qualifications- 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Experience working in a similar role with exposure to grants.
- Strong communication and business partnering skills.
- CPA or CA qualified.
