The Client
  
Our client is a successful professional services firm focusing on small and medium business owners and offering a variety of services from accounting to bookkeeping to finance to insurance and everything in between. Due to continued growth they are adding an Accountant to their team.
  
The Role
  
As part of a strong team, this role will be responsible for executing a high standard of tax and compliance work, as well as additional accounting tasks. Technically proficient and up to date with developments in taxation law and relevant accounting standards, systems and processes, this role will complete client income tax returns, financial statements and BAS and IAS returns in a timely and accurate manner.
  
Requirements
  
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a public practice with good knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and a background in preparing financial statements and tax returns. You will be pursuing a CA/CPA qualification and have tertiary qualifications in accounting. A strong client focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills is expected. This is a dynamic and changeable environment and so the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and self-motivate with minimal supervision is sought.
