AddressOne of Sydney's oldest and most established Accounting firms is on the hunt for an experience Accountant who is confident to be put into an advisory focused role. This role has a pathway through to a manager position and you would be supported by industry leading partners.
About The Role
- Work across an established portfolio of clients ranging from high net worth individuals to managed funds above the 100+ million mark.
- Strong client facing & advisory based exposure
- Completion of work such as Tax Returns, GST, CGT, FBT & Division 7A.
- Journal Adjustments & Account Reconciliations.
- Preparation & Review of financial statements for Companies, Trusts & Partnerships.
- Manage & review offshore team members
- Monthly tax training & upskilling.
- Tax Planning
- Estate Planning
- Review work for Junior/Intermediate Accountants
- Experience working with trading companies that contain an investment trust with at least 3+ beneficiaries.
- Experience completing review work for juniors/intermediates. It is also beneficial to have prior exposure managing/reviewing the work of offshore employees.
- Experience working with multiple generations of clients within a trust.
- 4-10+ Years of experience working in a Public Practice Accounting role.
- Understanding of Accounting standards & principals.
- Strong written & verbal communication.
- CA/CPA Qualification (Or close to finishing)
- Client facing exposure
- Exposure to creation of financial statements, tax returns, BAS, IAS & CGT.
- Exposure to Journal Adjustments and Account reconciliations.
- Flexible hours
- Two days WFH (Tuesday & Friday)
