Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and maintain budgetary and accounting policies
- Prepare comprehensive financial statements for management and compliance purposes
- Ensure accuracy and statutory compliance of financial documentation
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Analyse operating costs and organizational income and expenditure
- Provide financial insights and advice on business operations to enhance profitability
- Prepare and file tax returns for the company
- Maintain robust internal control systems
- Advise on and implement efficient accounting systems and software
- Contribute to strategic planning and financial reporting
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
