Our offices are located in Sydney, Wollongong and the Central Coast. We also have an online store, allowing customers easy access to our products.
About the Role
As a vital member of our Finance team, you will report directly to the Finance Manager. Your role will involve a diverse range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Managing payroll
- Assisting in the preparation of Annual Budgets and monthly Rolling forecasts
- Overseeing the fixed asset register, prepayments, intercompany schedule, and associated accounting
- Reconciling inter-company accounts and month-end journals
- Handling monthly closing journal entries, such as recurring, provisions, accruals, and inventory adjustments
- Ensuring monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts for review
- Preparing tax-related reports like BAS, GST, and FBT
- Providing other ad hoc management and financial reports as required
About You
We are seeking a proactive and driven individual who excels in a collaborative team setting and demonstrates the capability to work independently. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor degree or above in professional accounting
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence in engaging with employees and senior stakeholders, and building effective working relationships across the organization
- Preferred experience with SAP or equivalent ERP system knowledge
