About the role
- You will handle and support the finance and service departments with day-to-day accounting financial and account management activities.
- Support the Finance function by preparing company financial accounts, analysis, reporting and month-end activities.
- You will also assist other finance and administration functions across the business where required.
- Maintaining accounting records.
- Carry out financial transactions and analysis.
- Maintain Fixed Asset Register
- Assisting with accounts payable and receivable as required
- Performing Balance Sheet and Bank account reconciliations.
- Maintain the assets and liabilities of the company
- Review expenses
- Maintain general ledgers
- End-of-month journal entries
- Job cost variation and cost to complete entry
- Assist with GST and FBT returns
- Assist with Annual budget preparation
- Assist in the preparation of Annual Financial statements
- Support the Payroll function payroll administration tasks
- Prepare monthly financial statements, Profit & Loss, and Balance Sheet
- Bachelor of Business/Commerce/Economics with a major in Accounting
- Interest in pursuing CA/CPA and developing/establishing long-term Accounting career
- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of financial and accounting principles
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Microsoft Dynamics GP/Wennsoft, MYOB, or similar
- 5 years experience in a similar role
- Microsoft O365 expert
- Exceptional numerical skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- English will be your native language
